Maiko Uchida
Drummer/Composer Maiko Uchida graduated from The New School where she majored in Jazz and Contemporary Music and studied with jazz giants such as Carl Allen, Charlie Persip, Reggie Workman and Billy Harper. She has performed in prestigious jazz clubs in and around New York City and, as the leader of a creative jazz ensemble Moonset, released CD "Lifelong Endeavor" in 2007. She is also a member of children’s music performing group Monkey Monkey Music whose music clips appear regularly on PBS kids and NJTV.
Yutaka Uchida
Drummer/Composer Yutaka Uchida is a magna cum laude graduate of Berklee College of Music where he majored in Jazz Composition. As a versatile and creative drummer, Yutaka has worked extensively with numerous artists from diverse genres worldwide. He has toured internationally and has made appearances at prestigious music festivals. His first album as the leader “Living Together” earned a rave review by All About Jazz saying, “… it is easily one of the top outings of the year [2007].”
